Beside the Droid RAZR and MOTOACTV 'fitness performance tracked', Motorola Mobility announced the SF500 (wired) and SF700 (wireless) headphones which feature built-in heart rate monitors and are specifically designed for very active individuals. These new headphones make use of hydrophobic mesh, silicone seals and encased speakers to ensure durability and resistance to moisture, they have Bluetooth 4.0 support, include a built-in mic and controls, and are supposed to deliver 'hi-definition sound with digital tuning and enhanced bass'.
The SF500, with its gold-plated 3.5mm jack, costs $100, while the wire-free SF700 is priced at $150. Both headphones will become available on November 6th.
