iiyama is currently preparing the release of a sexy new ProLite monitor, the 23-inch X2377HDS which boasts LED backlighting and an IPS panel providing accurate and consistent color reproduction and wide viewing angles (178°/178° to be exact). iiyama's widescreen display features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 (the static contrast ratio is 1,000:1), a typical brightness of 250 cd/m2, stereo speakers, and D-Sub, DVI and HDMI inputs. The ProLite X2377HDS can be found on pre-order for as low as €165.37.
