Taiwan's own PQI has just announced the addition of a new portable storage solution to its portfolio, that of the H552V 2.5-inch hard drive which comes with a sleek, glossy/matte black-colored casing and a USB 3.0 interface. The H552V has a design inspired by sports cars, it includes four grip pads on the back that prevent slipping, it's bundled with data encryption software, and is backed by a three-year warranty. In terms of capacity, PQI's drive will be available in 500GB, 750GB (these models measure 80 (L) x 129 (W) x 15.5 (H) mm and weight 145 grams), and 1TB (80 (L) x 129 (W) x 18.5 (H) mm / 150g) versions. No prices were mentioned though.
