Samsung's Ice Cream Sandwich-flavored Galaxy Nexus has received a solid release date for the UK, November 17th, and is already available for pre-order through Amazon.co.uk. The smartphone is offered SIM/contract-free and costs £549.99 (for the 16GB version).The Galaxy Nexus runs Android 4.0 and features HSPA+ 21Mbps support, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.65-inch (1280 x 720) HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and zero shutter lag (it can record 1080p @ 30fps video), a 1.3MP front camera, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, an accelerometer, an eCompass, and a 1,750 mAh battery.
