Already announced and up for pre-order in the US, the ViewPad 7e entry-level tablet from ViewSonic has also been introduced in Europe where it should become available, priced at €179, sometime later this month. The ViewPad 7e comes with a sleek, all-white chassis, it runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) enhanced with a 3D interface, and packs a 7-inch (800 x 600) touchscreen (it supports both finger and stylus input), a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 single-core chip, and 512MB of RAM.
ViewSonic's device also has 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth, a G-sensor, an ambient light sensor, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, a front-facing VGA camera, an USB port, and a mini HDMI output.
