Despite lacking any new, sexy chips, EVGA was able to cook up a new card that might entice enthusiasts, a dual-GPU model called GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2Win which offers the power of two GTX 560 Ti cards and allows for a straightforward 3D Vision Surround setup.
Building on the legacy of the GeForce GTX 460 2Win revealed this past spring, this new dual-headed card features a non-standard, 11.5-inch long PCB, a dual-slot cooler with three fans, two heatsinks and four heatpipes, two 8-pin PCIe power connector, and four display outputs – three DVI and one mini HDMI.
EVGA’s card has 768 (384 x 2) CUDA Cores, an Nvidia PCIe bridge chip, GPU/shader clocks of 850/1700 MHz, a 2 x 256-bit memory interface, and 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM set to 4008 MHz. Oh, and there’s a SLI connector but don’t bet on being able to use two such cards for an Battlefield 3-crushing system.
