Another iPhone model, another successful product launch for Apple, that's what we can conclude from the announcement that over 4 million iPhone 4S units have been sold in the first three days since the smartphone's release. "iPhone 4S is off to a great start with more than four million sold in its first weekend - the most ever for a phone and more than double the iPhone 4 launch during its first three days," said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. "iPhone 4S is a hit with customers around the world, and together with iOS 5 and iCloud, is the best iPhone ever."
The dual-core-packing iPhone 4S is available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK, with 22 more countries set to get it on October 28. Beside bragging with the iPhone 4S sales, Apple also revealed that over 25 million people are using its latest iOS release (iOS 5), and that more than 20 million have signed up for the iCloud service.
