be quiet! has today introduced the Straight Power E9 family of power supplies which includes both non-modular and modular units with an 80Plus Gold certification and, depending on model, three or four 12V rails. The E9 PSUs utilize the Active Clamp + SR (synchronous rectifier) topology to ensure their stability and efficiency, and have active PFC, sleeved cables, a built-in, temperature-controlled 135mm fan SilentWings fan, plus protection against over current (OCP), over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), short circuit (SCP), over power (OPP) and over temperature (OTP).
