Just as planned, Motorola's Atrix 2 Android smartphone have become available from AT&T but it doesn't cost $199 as it's been previously reported, it costs just $100 (well, $99.99) when agreeing to a two-year contract (of at least $15/month). Without a contract, the phone costs $450.
The Atrix 2 runs Android 2.3, is compatible with the Lapdock 100 accessory and features HSPA+ 21 Mbps support, a 1 GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch (960 x 540) TFT touchscreen, 1GB of RAM, 8GB ROM, a microSD slot (2GB card included), a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash (can capture 1080p video), and a front camera for video calls.
